I love to sew. Period. It's just something that since I've been introduced to it, I always want to do. Well I've been working really hard to create multiple items to sell in an etsy shop. Recently, my shop was launched and I've already had one sale. Hooray! My shop is called Old Man Jake, themed after the vintage wool coats that I tear apart for the fabric in all my items, and my loving husband Jake. Feel free to swing by and take a look. Here are a few items you will find at my site:

granolas
A couple of years ago, Jake (with all his entrepreneurial inclinations) had the idea to try to sell and brand some pants that he discovered while studying abroad in Thailand. We connected with a local lady over there and ordered our first shipment. These pants are awesome! They're one size fits all, SO comfortable, and super versatile. They are great for any outdoor activity (hiking, rock climbing, backpacking, beach wearing, yoga, traveling...), for maternity (we've had a lot of pregnant ladies tell us they love them because they grow with you as you grow, and shrink with you as you lose the baby weight), or just straight up lounging.
Shortly after receiving our first shipment, we began selling them at the local farmers market. They sold like hotcakes and people were genuinely excited about them. We had kind of taken a break in promoting them due to the business of life, but now have a new website and are ready to get back to it. Check out our website. Better yet, try a pair!
